Make a Donation – Toronto Concert Orchestra

PAY FOR A TRIBUTE PERFORMANCE! We are looking for 28 donations of $350 to cover the cost of each of the musicians in our large orchestral performance. In honour of Kerry’s tribute concert, we plan to film four pieces of music with a 28 piece orchestra. This will be the largest group performing together since before Covid-19 started and so drastically changed the live music landscape.

PATRONS CIRCLE $1-$249: Every donation helps and adds up to make a real difference. Your gift could pay for the musicians musical scores, the travel for our performance and food for musicians while performing in communities across the province.

MUSICIANS CIRCLE $250-$499: Your contribution goes directly towards funding a musician’s participation in a future concert performance.

CONCERTMASTER’S CIRCLE $500-$999: There is a tremendous amount of work that goes into making these virtual concerts happen and this would not be possible without our talented concertmaster. Help make this beautiful music come to life!

MAESTRO’S CIRCLE $1,000- $2,499: TCO’s future is bright with Co-Artistic Director’s Sharon Lee and Marcus Scholtes carrying on Kerry’s vision. Make a grand gesture of support towards future programming and ensure we can continue presenting new concerts and our anticipated Café series throughout the year.

COMPOSERS CIRCLE $2,500-$4,999: Contribute towards a commission. Support the work of TCO’s new Composer-in-Residence, Samuel Bisson. TCO plans to commision exciting new Canadian compositions to be performed by our orchestra.

FOUNDERS CIRCLE $5,000+: We would love to continue presenting virtual concerts throughout the fall. Become the financial host of a TCO virtual concert and our artistic team will make this dream a reality!

Did you know, you can also make a gift of securities? In May 2006, the federal government eliminated the capital gains tax on charitable gifts of publicly-listed securities donated to public charities. These changes allow you to make a major gift to TCO at a relatively low cost to you.
